Who We Are: Slytrunk is a small team of technical experts focused on developing intuitive and memorable software applications with a range of incredible clients. We are looking for an experienced software developer to shape, influence, and join us in our pursuit of even higher performance while collaborating remotely with the entire Slytrunk team and our development partners.

How to apply
Having spent 10 years hand picking a team, we’re aware that qualifications can be reductive, and we’re open to unconventional paths. That said, here’s some things we’d expect to see from successful candidates:
A passion for development - demonstrated by an outstanding portfolio of digital project.
At least 3 years experience with Node.js
Experience designing, documenting, and creating APIs
Experience building services/microservices
Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, functional, etc)
Bonus points for
Experience with message queues/streaming platforms (like Kafka)
Experience with Cassandra
Comprehension of Domain Driven Design, CQRS, and Event Sourcing
Expert communication - in any medium; confident but flexible in applying your development process.
Professionalism - effortless time management; a drive to continuously improve; you are comfortable working across teams, doing what is necessary to steward excellent outcomes.
Qualified for development - BA or similar technical qualification or experience - you are a technical thinker at heart; open-minded, curious and exploratory.
